Monterey Wine Tours – Wine Enthusiast picked Monterey County as a Top Ten Wine Travel Destination in the World in year 2013. It is surprising that Monterey County is the only place chosen from California and one of two places chosen in the USA .

Not only for the world class coastline, but also for the wine, you may want to choose monterey for your next wine tasting trip. The Monterey peninsula has well over 40 thousand acres of vineyards in production, which is second only to Sonoma County.

Monterey Wine Country boasts over 175 unique vineyards in a 90-mile-long valley but with only around 8 primary soil types. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are the exceptional production in cold areas of Monterey benefit from the so called “thermal rainbow” spreading north-to-south, cold to warm, providing diverse micro-climates supporting forty-two fine wine varietals. Within the world-class designation of Monterey County, the region has nine American Viticultural Areas (AVAs).

Among Monterey’s three Wine Country areas, the River Road Wine Trail is the one similar to what you may experienced in Napa or Sonoma’s Wine Country. Our limo will take you to explore this area, vineyards grow next to farm fields to share the view with broccoli .
There are a couple of wineries and tasting rooms on the River Road Wine Trail, and many are open by appointment only. If you’re tight on time, we can choose wineries that are close together to make the best of you time while you visit Monterey.

Go north from Carmel and you’ve got the Pebble Beach golf resort, the world-class Monterey Bay Aquarium and the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. Go south and you’ve got the spectacular Big Sur coast and (if you’re willing to stay overnight) Mr. Hearst’s Castle.
